Business Parking Permits

As of  2023, business owners and employees are able to purchase  monthly parking permits.  Permit parking will be continued for Mack Avenue business owners and employees.  See Notice of Business Parking Permits.

Permit holders will be allowed to park at any 4 or 10 hour meter located in any municipal lot or bay.  Permits will not be valid for any parking space on Mack Avenue.  The cost of a monthly permit is $50 and may be purchased by the month at the Department of Public Safety, Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Proof of employment, a pay stub or signed letter from employer on business letterhead, must be submitted along with the completed application.

Completed Applications may be submitted:

  • In person at the Records Department during business hours
  • By drop box with payment by check issued to "The City of Grosse Pointe Woods".
    • Envelopes addressed "Attention: Public Safety"
  • By mail with payment  by check issued to "The City of Grosse Pointe Woods
    • Envelopes addressed to "City of Grosse Pointe Woods, Attention: Public Safety, 20025 Mack Plaza, Grosse Pointe Woods, MI 48236"
