Get ready for an unforgettable afternoon of winter fun at Winterfest 2025: Sports Edition! Join us on January 25th from 12pm to 3pm at Ghesquiere Park for a fantastic celebration of community, sports, and winter cheer.

This family-friendly event offers something for everyone! Enjoy delicious food from a variety of food trucks or take a stroll to visit the petting zoo and pony rides. Sports fans can meet-and-greet with their favorite Detroit mascots! Dance to your favorite tunes at the dance party, capture memories at the photo booth, and so much more.

The Grosse Pointe Woods Foundation is hosting a Tin Can Raffle at Winterfest with proceeds to support the new swing area in Ghesquiere Park. Tickets are $5 each; 3 for $10; or 7 for $20. Prizes include Detroit Lions' memorabilia; a Red Wings inflatable octopus; a reserved parking spot by the pool at Lake Front Park; Detroit Pistons tickets; gift certificates to The Friendship Factory, Trek Bicycle, and Lou's Pet Shop; and more!
